...think I'm going to get the RS tomorrow just to remind myself just exactly HOW to engineer a car, Lotus are digging their own grave.

That's a bit harsh, sorry, but I get annoyed with this issue - I should have got a non-aircon car.

Worth remembering some work appears to have been done on it and I would say its highly likely it's not been secured after.
Can't really blame lotus for that ;)

Lotus can engineer a car perfectly (almost)... It's building it that's the issue!

Could try these... Not too close (doable) but may be able to help.

Might be worth a call to see how much to fit the two rads.

If I was closer (and my name was Adrian ;)) then absolutely :)
Elise's are great to work in as you can remove the body panels easily and quickly.

Not a bad write up there. Could easily do it in a day even factoring in bacon sarnie breaks. You probably could get away without jacking the car up or removing the wheels (I did). Extra pair of hands to help move the clam is useful - it's not heavy just awkward.

The radiator is quite high so you may get away without even draining the coolant completely. There's a bleed point here just for that reason. The Toyota unit is actually pretty easy to bleed.

Could do both rads for a little around 500 quid mark and have some fun too :)
It one of the things I like about elise based cars - they really are fun to work on.

May even be cheaper if you can negotiate the parts (or contribution) from the supplying dealer.

I'm just replacing the radiator with an alloy race one and doing no other work - oh, I am doing the heat shields and will look at the bushes later (and possible adjustable roll bar).

At least I get the car back and can paint the wheels black, black petrol cap surround and maybe carbon wrap the front access panels.
