Roy, glad its coming together, i got a diesel as its seemed more practicle, i know its not a sporty to drive as the petrol but i didnt like the petrol one for some reason.

I bet you cant wait for that M5, i had a look at 1 at a dealer and the deal they have on is good, but im in minds what i want next, keep the C6 and wait for the C7 RS6 and get on a year old or get a porsche turbo or i have been offered a nice MK4 R32 turbo. i dunno.

im off to Cuba for 2 weeks so im sure been away from my laptop will be a good chance to dream of what i want to do car wise.

The mini is a fair bit of fun on the twisties but i cant stand the mini seats trups they are bloody awful i did 200 miles in the mini a few weeks ago and it near gave me piles the ride was that uncomfortable LOL
Be interesting to compare the diesel against the petrol S for performance -
Our Petrol S is using a fair bit too much fuel for my liking and it feels slooooow considering its supposed to produce 185bjp

I don't think the Cooper S D will be as quick as the petrol as on paper there is a 1sec difference but rolling it will give it a good run I should think, got to wear it in for the 1st 1200 miles before I can give it beans, they even gave it with half a tank which I was surprised about.

As the car was bought for town driving It will be the mrs that has it the most as she works close to home and I work 50 mile away.

Roy, I drove back from bham in it today and coming out the Audi and going into this its not the best of seats or driving position. Mrs has not seen it yet, she is due home from work anytime now so fingers crossed haha.

I had a little play today even tho im ment to take it steady and it does shift, fun little car, once the engine has worn in I think it will be a pokey little car. Fuel isn't so great on this either, from full ive lost 2 bars of fuel and ive done 75miles in it, 29mpg..

It can be quick but defo could do with LSD. Mine spins wheels all the time at t junctions, wet cornering etc. runflats do about 12k on the front.... looking to replace mine with b7 saloon or m3. I just don't find the mini very grown up and that gets tiresome...a good laugh when in the mood mind.

Loved the rs4 but the only one I've driven has stealer asking silly money...

Mine was new Nickyboy, 2 miles on the clock when dropped off to me on a trailer..

I know we shouldn't but there was a E46 M3 messing about so I tried but failed LOL, if I was in my RS6 I would of left him for dead.!!

Stock wheels are not big enough to fill the gap out, rare wheels that I have had sat around for a while I also have some Porsche 3pce splits and some Bugatti splits which I believe are the only ones in the UK.

next job is to change the lighting to white including the xenons. I will do that tomo and send some pictures

I must admit with the sun out and the roof down its a good looking car.
The Mrs asked me to change the time on the dash so i checked the mpg for you, its doing 36 mpg and it never sees the motorway so i guess its doing OK

ive changed the Xenons to 6k as the OEM are yellow IMO. going to do the rest of the bulbs and interior of you want to change yours too in it? will put pics in later.

36mpg? wow. thats good. need to wear this in, as long as it gets over 50mpg il be happy as i pay for the fuel in the cars.

What did they use on the plastic wheel arches
They fade pretty quick
I'm using that aerospace stuff at the moment

Megs ASD. the car is dirty at the min and its looking great and its still on there right now.

get the g techniq c4 trim restorer, I had this put on my 04 polo when it was detailed last May and its lasted quite a while throughout the year, I think il put that on the mini when its about 6 months old, il get the ASD to keep it looking nice.
