I got it for 93.2 in a Shell garage tonight, but magically managed to get 55.5 litres in. It's a 53 litre tank and i've never managed to get even 54 litres in when i've been running on fumes in the past.

Miserable shower of shats are increasing their profit margins a bit more stealthily it seems!

Weird! Dont you get more fuel when colder, or is that an old wifes tail? Maybe the actually capacity of the tank is 53 litres, but you can get 2.5 litres in the pipe? Didn't this happen on Top Gear when they had to drive from somewhere to Blackpool on one tank of fuel? ie the tank capacity is wrong.

I've owned the car for two years now and never managed to get 53.5 litres in, even when venting the fuel tank with the little black button thingy.

I've reported it to Trading Standards today as the chump at the garage just shrugged his shoulders. Also, the 'Customer Services' number printed on the bottom of the receipt isn't a valid number(0500 7318888)!

Doing my sums on the amount I managed to get in more than I should have, the price i've paid equates to 2.6p per litre extra on a full tank.

It's hardly going to break the bank, but it's the principle.

You wouldn't believe i'm only 28. I share the love of complaining about stuff with pensioners.

In the last 12 months i've managed to get the road leading up to my place repaired (it was like a 4x4 proving ground), traffic light sequences changed for my benefit and also managed to get my neighbour evicted.

Vive le complainant!!

I'm 28 too, and also gettin in to it ;) Have so far only managed a free custom map for my motorbike, but we currently have a complaint in the bag about some shoes  I would be intesested in the traffic light complained process as the cross roads by me change to the opposite flow too quick, ie one turns to amber as soon as the other turns to red, there is no delay :(
