If you have electric seats then get your seat into the ideal place and then move it back about 4-6" and the backrest about 2-5" Then get your belt and position it almost(again 3-6") at the bit you clip it into, give the belt a good sharp tug to lock it, hold it tight as you click the belt into place and also while you move your seat back to the perfect position. You won't move too much then and no need to wait on delivery of G lock's and the like. I was shown this about 6 years ago in the ring by some old(about 80)guy who was driving like a nutter in his brand new RS4 He also had a mark on his belt to show how far to pull it out before giving it a tug to lock, I have the same on my RS

Julian, the CG lock isn't a replacement for a bondage harness you know.
i like the electric seat thing, i always drive with the seat in the highest position so i guess it'd just be a matter of dropping it down, putting my belt on and lifting it back up again, doddle.

No good for me - no electric seats, and I have to have my seat back as far as it can go (6'1" tall) - plus I'm getting my CG lock tomorrow - and even I can wait THAT long (but only just)If you have electric seats then get your seat into the ideal place and then move it back about 4-6" and the backrest about 2-5" Then get your belt and position it almost(again 3-6") at the bit you clip it into, give the belt a good sharp tug to lock it, hold it tight as you click the belt into place and also while you move your seat back to the perfect position. Don't start on the bondage/gimp suit theme Dave .... you know how some people don't like it ...Julian, the CG lock isn't a replacement for a bondage harness you know.

Jules, you need to open the sunroof and turn the wheel full-lock to the left to make it easier to fit the CG-Lock, they failed to put that in the instructions.
RE: Re: RE: 4 point harness?
WTF are you on about you extremely silly person??!! I don't even have a sunroof! And anyway; I watched the "installation" video on their web-site ...Jules, you need to open the sunroof and turn the wheel full-lock to the left to make it easier to fit the CG-Lock, they failed to put that in the instructions.

RE: Re: RE: 4 point harness?
well i'm happy to report that after an extensive test to the Co-Op and back, dropping the seat down before putting the seat belt on puts you in a death grip that Kendo Nagasaki would have been proud of. no hint of sliding around whatsoever.

To answer your question Paul, yes cars do sometimes roll over on trackdays. Rare but it does happen sadly.
RE: Re: RE: 4 point harness?
Got my CG lock today - what a great little device! PoP to fit, and really holds you into the seat tight; spot on for those who like to drive 'enthusiastically', and great for those cursed with a bad back (stops "slouch" and keeps the spine straight) - Highly recommended. *****

Am sure you are both great lookers... with too little time to sort out a group buy...
if you can put me on to the admin person, I can sort this out and get even more AUDI drivers enjoying their drive too!
I can set this discount code up in 10 mins...
all the best

PS anyone going to the MPH07 show at the NEC? The stage show stunt cars will have CG-Locks in! Hope to see you there...

I wish I'd got the above response when I tried to arrange a group buy about 3 years ago.
