What size wheels and tyres are you running and what was the rev's in 6th gear?

My car runs 225/40/18 and rev's were at 7000rpm. (redline set to 7200rpm)

I think it was about 140 on the GPS then i realised i was still in 4th gear

550 in a Jumbo, didn't throw up either 140 in my Evo, i have no real interest in going faster than that, way too many other factors to consider. To be honest i rarely see 3 figures anymore, no worth the ban.

seen the needle coming back down to 175 twice, god knows what speed we were doing, at that rate of knots you tend to concentrate on the road (that was on the Gixer 1000 by the way)

145mph in my a6 standard then matched it with my mums citroen .... upgraded turbos couldn't come too soon!

Well i took a big risk (silly i know......) on the A 16 in north of France very straight motorway there , done 185 mph for a short moment it was great!!!!!! The car do behave very well at that speed i have to admit. The only one thing wish did scare me was the possibility of a french "Gendarme" waiting for me with a speed gun..........

Went to France last week end and did chase a Lambo Countach on the same A16 around that speed, i could hear his engine from my car!!!! I was right to his....bump for few miles and gave up because my wind screen started to be cover of oil coming from his exhaust!!!!! We did slow down afterward . By the way my consomption at that speed was 4 MPG , YES!! so imagine with his car.....big V12.

Will never do it again!! ( i always say that)

Indicated 196 mph on the Autobahn between Ingolstadt and Hiedleberg in 996tt........but Road angel GPS speed was 187 mph......... flat out........ nothing left car was very stable and perfectly behaved........ thought of accident at that speed slowed me down..had visions of an aeroplane disaater...bits of cars scattered for 100's yards...after that 130 cruising speed seemed very tame.........

43.1 as of yesterday on my bike with semi-slicks on down a very long steep hill! It felt supprisingly stable as there was no wind.
