Yep, I get all that, and agree it would be a big surprise if there weren't a new RS4. But times have changed for VW, they will have to focus on the volume sellers.

I'd imagine the likes of a RS4 is far more profitable for Audi than a diesel S-Line, I'd be surprised if they didn't make another.
