Depends what you want to do - is it tuition? or just driving other stuff?
Would be more for the tuition than the driving other stuff. I'll be moving from a 170 manual diesel to a 450 petrol. Looking to get some practical advice on getting the best from the car. Fast in a straight lin is all well and good, but any monkey can do that! Want to learn how to push it through the corners safely and how to react should anything go wrong.

Any ideas welcome...
Could do Audi experience....

If you look up the ARDS local to you, then there's a number of qualified instructors
Admittedly, ARDS qualification is mainly geared for 'Racing', but I'm sure many of these guys will be able to teach you fast road driving too ;
You mentioned you're local to Knockhill, right ?

The audi experience looks good, Silverstone is a bit far to go for it.

ARDS looks like a good option if I can get one to sign up for it. Will look into it over the next week or so. Seems to be loads of instructors in this area too.

ARDS itself is worthwhile for anybody venturing on track but it is very much geared towards making sure that you are not going to be a danger to yourself or others.
As such it's not about teaching fast driving techniques but things more like what constitutes a racing line and being consistent. For example if you did one amazing fast lap and 3 slow laps you could fail as ARDS doesn't want you fast if you are not consistent.
You may be able to find an ARDS instructor that offers independent coaching though.
