RS4 due its MOT on Saturday and a pre-warranty inspection for the next 12 months. Dealer had already agreed to put another 12 months warranty on the whole car, free of charge, when I complained last year about them selling it to me with only half a litre of gearbox oil in it!! Apparently this is not part of their pre-sale check up. Anyway, I accepted that as I knew it covered the whole car as well as the gearbox for another year and it costs £1439!!!!
Took the car in on Saturday morning and was given a brand new A4 courtesy car for the day even though I wasn't really entitled to one since no actual work was being done. When I collected mine in the afternoon it had been MOT'd, washed, valeted, pre-warranty checked and warrantied and they didn't charge me a penny
I was expecting to pay for the MOT and the warranty check but they threw the whole lot in as a goodwill gesture to re-establish my faith in them.So I would like to say well done to South Hereford Audi, highly recommended and to the general manger, Shane Powell who put it right when I wasn't happy. You see they can do it sometimes
