RS6 C5 headlights
Hi chaps, just purchased a RS6 C5 04 plate , want to get a few chips and paint repairs done and renew the headlights , as they have gone yellow and pitted ,
anyone know a good supplier at a reasonable cost, been quoted £745 each from a supplier !!!

Just get them polished - like you would polish paint on a car. Go to any detailer or body Shop and they will do it in 30 minutes. Will be like new

I polished mine this past weekend easy to do(as long as you have a DA polisher) you can get kits to do it to if you fancy it but like viper said detailers will do it be about £50 to £90

c5 rs6 owner thats been known to cut the wrong wire.............

One on the right is done and one on the left(drivers side) hasn't been about 20 mins work per headlight

I had mine polished as soon as I bought the car, I could not beleive how good they came up, as good as new.

I bought a 17 quid kit from Halfords, and did both headlights in under an hour.




2003 RS6 Avant in Ebony Black/Silver Nappa - Wagners, Millteks, MRC Stage 2 map, Bosch 044, Sports Cats, Bilsteins, Hotchkis ARBs, 390mm C6 discs, Recaro CS, RNS-E, LED tail-lights, Goodyear Eagle F1s,......Porsche filler caps

Don't forget to put a UV sealant on them afterwards and every few months thereafter.
