Motoreasy

Or not at all Easy..

In case anyone is considering taking out a warranty with MotorEasy - founded by Duncan McClure Fisher - my advice would be not to bother.

I hasten to add this is not on my RS4, but the wife's Q7.

In the last 2 months I have had nothing but trouble trying to get a response time within their SLA for a booking or even a straight forward resolution once the car got to a garage.

Under their lovely T&C's, the wiggle room to declare on Wear and Tear is huge and quoting 40% contribution to a fix for a replacement part + labour equated to me paying more than the part at cost + £40 labour. Rejected the offer, did the fix myself with the help of some Googlesk research and trade sourcing, saves about £200.

Rant over.

Unfortunately I don't think many third party warranties are worth the paper they are written on

^what he said. I thought about it then re-read ban's thread on getting his gearbox sorted and decided that I'd risk it.

Thanks for the tip, though. Always good to name and shame.
