Aftermarket Bluetooth Kit

Post by lushman » Fri Dec 02, 2016 12:27 am

I need help. I have just had a Bury cc9048 fitted to the car which has RNSE. I find the volume is too low when moving in the car which defeats its purpose. I have had an additional speaker added to increase the volume which helped slightly but still not good enough. The kit has been checked and and all the volume settings are at max. Is there something I am not adding on the RNSE?
My daily runaround has a parrot ck3100 which is great and works a treat. What I also would like to know is what aftermarket kit are other people using? Depending on what members here suggest I will be very happy to rip out the Bury and put a parrot kit in and one with a display so I can see who is calling!
TIA

Do you have BOSE system ??
Not sure about BURY but When I had my PARROT done there was additional harness needed in order for the full BOSE compatibility Otherwise it was just going through one or two speakers and it was barely heard.

Yep BOSE is there and additional harness got. Looking at just disabling it and buying one of the Jabra Freeway for the visor. Seems to get good reviews for loudness.

Thanks

The Jabra Freeway is unlikely to be load enough tbh. The mic also may pick up too much background noise. I've worked for both Jabra and Parrot so have experience of pretty much all their products.

The Parrot kit is great for normal cars but I've found that the person I'm speaking to says that's there's loads of background sound. I've obviously got a decent Parrot unit with the dual mics...

What I've been using in my RS4 is the Jabra Motion headset and whenever I speak to people, they rarely notice that I'm driving at motorway speeds.

I'm not an expert on the Bury kits but I'd question why they installed an external speaker - I would suspect that they haven't used a loom for an amplified vehicle but someone like incartec should be able to advise
