AMG Experience at Brooklands

Post by N13LXC » Sat Feb 27, 2016 9:22 pm

So, as part of a business purchase of a c350 e, I managed to get a sweetener of than AMG Experience. I've got a choice of a few cars so wondering what the thoughts were on what to choose...

Options are likely to be:

C63, coupe, saloon and estate
E63
AMG Gt

And possibly some others...

My thoughts are go like for like and go c63 coupe to see what the competition is offering. Or, do I go for one of the more exotic models?

Answers on a postcard...

Aren't the new ones (the estates anyway) 4wd? (Note I haven't googled that so don't bum me if I'm wrong!)

Think AWD is only for the left hand drive cars currently (excluding SUV's). I could be wrong though. I took the E63 out at Brooklands and it was great. The car felt smaller than it is. The level of grip was equally as impressive for such a big RWD car. This was on a dry summers day though.

All rwd for UK spec, I think.

I took an rs6 out last year before getting the rs4, and honestly preferred the 4 for its size and agility. Don't get me wrong though, had they been the same price, I think it would have been a much more difficult choice!

I'm still on the fence for this one! So long as they don't pap me off with the a45... Great wee car, but no interest in it at all.

You can register your interest for a specific car when you book and again confirm on the day. There are no guarantees you will get the one you want, but it's likely.

The dealer said that, so I'm booked in on Easter Sunday, should have info through this week Re availability.

Whatever it is, it'll be fun tearing it round the track! Not somewhere I take the rs4, so will be a nice change.
