Spotted... RSs of a different kind... Ford fans look here!

Post by MikeFish » Sun Jul 19, 2015 8:14 pm

I was out yesterday on a world tour with the wife looking for cake decorations (don't ask), and while I stopped at Donnington services I was treated to a feast of Ford RSs.
As I also passed a Sapphire 4x4 on the way into the services (wearing what looked like a home made blue insulating tape bra) I assume there was some sort of RS day nearby.

The one at the back looks like an RS500!

I know! I got caught short driving the missus around. I thought I was just going to Warwick but the shop was closed when we got there and it turned lit it wasn't even the shop she wanted. The one she actually wanted was in Nottingham and I didn't have enough to get to any Tesco or Shell that I knew.

Wasn't it this forum about a year ago where a guy was trying to sell his dad's cossie? He went from £25k to in the end taking £8k I think! I was gutted for him! When I used to walk to school I used to go past a garage with a c reg xr4x4. Loved them ever since!

I hated watching these things kicking Holden's arse all over Mt. Panorama back in the eighties. Bound to happen though, 600hp to the rear wheels in a car weighing less than a sparrow's fart.
