Iv seen some engine transplants but this has got to be up there! How the hell does it fit?

Here's another video of the same car. Looks like the interior was completely stripped too. A lot of work must have gone into this. There's a clip of it at the end racing against that white RS6.

So it looks a like the Auto shifter is still in there, shame it couldnt have been a manual or might aswell full race box.

Iv owned a MK4 golf as a first car which was a 1.4 and later I owned the R32. And the thought of a 3.2 litre engine in that car was pretty nuts, people have put in the larger 3.6 with turbos etc but these guys are off the scale!! 5.0 litre with twin turbos!

Is this engine especially compact? I just dont understand how it fits lol
