Due to my love of Audis this has rubbed off onto my 9 year old son and in particular R8's. His birthday is on the 23rd of January and will be 10, quite a big thing for him as its double digits. We were joking around about taking the R8 in the Edinburgh Audi showroom for a test drive and it gave a me an idea, although I never mentioned it to him as its quite a big ask. Anyhow I was wondering if there was any R8 owners in Scotland that would be willing to take him for a spin in their R8. I'd be willing to pay towards fuel costs or to a charity if they prefer as a thanks. If so then feel free to pm me for my phone number. I'm in Kelty, Fife, just north of Edinburgh but would be willing to travel.

Stick this in the R8 section and you might get more response.
I know there is one in Saline (not sure if they're on here tho). There's definitely a few in the Stirling area, but don't know any names personally.
I'm in Kelty too, there is a C6 RS6 Saloon parked round the corner from me. That might be another option....

Hi Neil, cheers for the reply and I'll stick this in the R8 section. Where in Kelty are you as I'm in back faulds place. I've spoken to the guy round the corner with the RS6, Darren, last year but he's not much of a forum guy, nice guy though and stunning car.

Yeah the rs6 looks awesome! Never seems to move tho...
Im just round the back from you in limepark crescent. Not looking forward to trying to get the rs4 up the hill if it snows! Hopefully by the time I get it in March that wont be so much of an issue!

I'll hold you to that if thats ok, wish I never sold my S4 now ha. Thats unbelievably close. I'll pm you my number if you fancy a chat some time. The guy who owns the RS works away as a welder so car doesn't move much.
