Not sure I see the point if having the code fob on the same Keyring as the car keys!

Adsgreen, its so its always with the car keys for my ease, if someone steals the keys would

Cont. if someone steals the keys they wouldn't be able to start the car as it freezes it after the 3rd wrong attempt for a period of time.

True but it makes it quite obvious. If you have somebody break in for the keys when you are there it makes it quite a small step to threaten for the code. Just if it were me I'd keep them separate.
