While Having some new tyres fitted today!!

I went to ears Motorsport today to have 4 new tyres fitted, all was well and as I was sat in the the waiting room a guy comes in 55ish big belly grey hair. Just to give you a picture. He asks why I'm there and I say new tyres as I'm going to the nurburgring in August then he starts to tell me how he races a Aston Martin db9 in an endurance champion ship and he has done championships in escorts , tvr's, cosworths,lotus exige with super charger. I'm thinking that dispite him looking like the only thing he has won is the race to the front of the McDonalds line, he kind of knows what he's talking about. Then he drops the big one, he has a Rs4 b7 just like mine but he has an Avant, he says he's had the team that do the Astons db9s do a bit of work on it and they have got 600 Ps out of it . I'm curious and ask what he's had done. He says they've done the exhaust and induction!!!!!!

Lol, he was in his wife car as she had damaged a tyre on a curb. TO be honest I was so in shock with the amount of bullshit I just sat quietly listening in awe.

Yep, there's a few around. Before I bought my RS4, I got chatting to a chap with a Mugello Blue saloon in town who said his was 'heavily modded' though he didn't elaborate other than to mention Milltek and carbon clean. Told me it was good for 195 at "the 'Ring". I was tempted to enquire mph or kph, but he was a big fella.....
