A4 2.0TFSI Fuel economy

Post by R5CPK » Thu Jun 13, 2013 10:30 pm

I need to buy a more economical car and have been looking at a 2.0TFSI 220BHP. Im hearing conflicting stories re fuel economy can anyone provide realistic figures from personal knowledge before I commit?

Thanks.

As above, my wife gets quite low figures in her S3 (think she said it was about 18-20mpg), but the car has only done a couple of thousand miles.

My 3.0tdi Quattro A5 only managed an average of 30mpg.

If you want a balance between MPG and power get the 177 2.0tdi and remap it, should return you a nice 40mpg average.

If you must have petrol then the newer the car the better.
