Even the modern ones are a pita to actually drive. A 1997 model is older than the one I had a play with and if it's half as bad then it'll be a disaster.
All show imo and yes in a very careful straight line it could be quite fast (if the power actually transferred to the road) but would be murdered by anything evern remotely composed in a bend. I'm sure if you were a driving god then sure it'd be great but I actually found a TVR Tuscan S to be better dynamically on track.
