Terrible service from Audi
Hi,
I booked my car into an Audi dealers for an oil service, I may or may not have said on the phone that it also had an oil leak, can't remember.
Arrived down and spoke to the service adviser who made a drama out of the fact that he didn't know about the leak and how I should have told them when booking it in so he could have ordered parts, made plans, arrange a loan car etc etc, he spoke to me like I was some sort of naughty school child. I told him I was supplying the oil for the service (10L of Millers) He told me they would advise on the price to check for the oil leek later. He said the car would be ready around 2 o'clock.
I got a txt from him telling me it would be 2 hrs labor to check for the leak which I thought was a bit much as they hadn't looked for it then, but anyway.
I returned around 2 for the car and he told me that the oil was running out of it all over the floor and there was oil every where but they hadn't found where it was coming from, strange as there was only a bit of a drip on my yard. He said the car wouldn't be ready that day and he would call me later with an up date and I needed to get my own way home as he hadn't a car for me.
I didn't get a call from them that night so called back myself to be told they had nothing further and would call me the next morning. I called them at 12 the next day as they didn't call me. I ended up calling back 7 times as I couldn't get speaking to the service adviser, he wouldn't return any of my calls, reply to messages on his VM or with colleagues. After eventually speaking to him I was told where the leak was from and that they would do the service the next day and I should call after 2 for the car.
I arrived for the car, payed the bill and found that the remainder of my oil wasn't there, 1 hour later he tells me that the 2.6L that was left after the service had been skiped and unluckly for me the skip had been emptied that morning, but they did agree to replace my oil with 5L.
I'm just pissed off with the treatment I got, I never had anything like that from Subaru or Vauxhall or any other garage I have been to especially after the prices they charge. Also I'm wondering where my oil went, and if any of it made its way into my engine or disappeared into the boot of someones car.
That's the last time I go near an Audi main dealer.

Complain direct to Audi UK, they're in Milton Keynes (I have their address somewhere if you cant find it on t'internet, just PM me). They need to know about such shoddy service and may offer some goodwill. Good luck.

Re: Terrible service from Audi
It's not good to hear about bad service from Audi dealerships but its not usually like that. Over the course of a day they must deal with thousands of customers and it is usually as good as you would expect. They do need to be informed of bad service though as they would like to know and would want to make sure it doesn't happen again.
My local dealer is always on the ball and the service is faultless every time and I spend a lot of time there with questions, work and advice and the service I receive is always the same and nothing is too much trouble.

Re: Terrible service from Audi
sounds familiar mate tbh just because its audi doesn't mean they are any good, your right i've had better service from vauxhall
to get to the parts desk guy at my audi
i have to first take a seat, failing to do this you get barked at by a receptionist to sit down!, even though the parts desk guy is sitting right there in my line of sight doing nothing twiddling his thumbs, DO NOT APPROACH!
So i have to sit down in the waiting area on this leather couch with a load of other randoms, (probably all been stitched up) then wait to be summoned over like a school kid on parents evening
its a joke at times

Re: Terrible service from Audi
Ordered my Audi last Saturday. Called 4 times on Tuesday to get something added to my order. Finally got a call back @ 5.45 just for him to tell me they closing soon and will do it tomorrow and call me back. Well as you can guess he didn't call so I rang in the afternoon to be told his manager wasn't in so had to do it the next days. Still no call the following day and I was about to ring and cancel my order when he said its was all ok and he would email the details of the changed order. Guess what no email.
This dealer will not be getting my service work in the future.

Re: Terrible service from Audi
Audi UK got back to me, I didn't expect to hear from them again but to be honest its left a bad taste in my mouth and its the last time I will be in through the door.
I spoke to Unit 20 and have the car booked in with them for the work to be carried out, they didn't seem to think much of the info Audi supplied for the 2 hour investigation they charged me for locating the oil leak.
