WMS 5 star warranty total *****

Post by rs4blacked » Mon May 21, 2012 10:37 pm

I have a warranty management services policy on my car and have to say it is total and utter <beep> not worth the paper it is printed on.

a 5 star policy that they will only cover upto £1k providing the repairers labour rate is no more than £40 ph.

I have a few issues with the car which audi have diagnosed but I need to find a £40ph garage that can fix the problem.

They say they will pay for OEM parts.

1 item is a pdc sensor they have said they would pay for the sensor but not the painting of the sensor WTF.

Avoid WMS car warranty company like the plague!! A total rip off, the warranty is not worth the paper it's written on. You should read the terms and conditions, virtually every type of repair is excluded, if you try to claim as I did, it is most likely to be rejected. Plus they are very rude on the phone and don't want to know, except of course if you are buying a warranty, in which case they will be very helpful. A bunch of cowboys

Ask them the booktime for any of the repairs required, then, ask that they contribute that amount to the Audi bill.
It's no different to you actually finding a garage charging £40 per hour. Also, remind them that your car requires a level of knowledge not available @ £40 an hour.
e.g. Clutch return pipe books at 6 hours (hypothetical), get it done by Audi and have WMS reimburse you £200. You shallow the rest.
No matter where you go, there you are.
