I saw a nice shiny black M3 CSL last thursday near Bagshot just going onto the M3 motorway - it had a Munich reg, with a nice young lady driving it... as usual i didn't have the camera with me..
M3 CSL - Silver Grey, a few options.

A lot more M3CSL info here;

www.bm3w.co.uk

That Black coupe (IF it was the CSL ) is at present the only RHD CSL in the UK. It's insured for £100k I'm told...

if the one you are referring to has a german reg plate then I bet that's the one.. This one had a csl badge on the rear and a bigger boot spoiler. I had to look twice as I passed it on the inside as I could only just make out the girl driving it (very short indeed!!)

It looks just like a BMW.
Standard RS4 (is it the only standard one left?)

Met one going up slip road onto a motorway. The RS4 pulled away slightly up to 100 when I tapped off. 3 up in RS4. 2 up in CSL. Only realised it was a CSL when it eventually glided past. RS4 is standard.

nice car but no where to put your dog in the back

.. and no turbos  .. or quattro for that matter.

.. by the way, how many RS4's in the UK? Only 48 give or take a few here in Oz.

Am I placing people in pigeon holes.........??
Most CSL drivers I have seen have rather large partings, Goatie`s, large mid rifts and generally display England flags......How do I notice this?? The car windows are down as they don't have aircon..........
Just an observation.......

Think you might be slighly wrong there as very few of the CSLs in UK are standard spec without air conditioning and as for the large midriffs had mine when I had the RS4 if I still had it wouldnt be able to get in the cSL seat!!!!

Funny how people are steriotyped through ignorance!!

Well I am a seriously fat bastard with a centre parting, so I guess I fit the bill?

Sweating like a pig too, without the climate control.

Oooh, the heat coming through the fibre roof on me bald patch.... its making the glue seperate the rest of me syrup from me scalp.

Or maybe not.

Guess you are really talking about GT3RS owners?

Ignorance...No..... just a bit of light hearted "banter"
If I were to proclaim the merits of Audis on a few BMW sites, I would expect comments about slippers, incontinence products and Stair lifts...!!!

Come off it Philip. This is home for a few people now who at present dont have an Audi in the garage.

I am test driving an S4 cab in the morning. Time to get the Zimmer frame back out to show the dealership I mean business! :bigblink:

A/C was a no - cost option on the CSL, as I suspect you well realise :)
