Ok I am a royalist and have thoroughly enjoyed this weekend but a bit miffed that all the southerners have had all the fun.....anyone got any piccies???

Totally agree Amanda thought the concert was good last night and Charles with a bit of a sense of humour at the end!!

I watched the Flotilla in Vauxhall, cracked the bubbly and port open at 10am haha yea was a good day. Brollies was deployed, this did ruin it....

Well guys the Sarf' is where its at ;)

Got some pics but have to send them off for development as we used the Lomo :(

Was going to pop into town but the weather put us off.
Glad we didn't as it looked soaking.

Had a big street party in our town centre.

Paul McCartney & Rolf...... is this the best we've got ??

(and Macca is doing the Olympic Opening Ceremony too FFS)

I couldnt agree more.

Macca...his voice just isnt what it used to be and people should move on, he is coming close to being an embarrassment. Mind you old Tom Jones still has a set of lungs on him!

I thought Ed Sheeran sang incredibly well considering it was live, Cheryl Cole should be seen and never ever EVER heard.

Watched the ceremony, looked ok. Jones sure can sing, but what's happened to Elton's voice? Is that a lisp? Dentures not in properly perhaps? And yeah, Cheryl, oh dear... Even Jessie sounded better. Hope HRH enjoyed it, can never tell what she's thinking...

Elton probably had someone /thing stuck in his throat !

The commentators kept saying that the "Queen looked so happy".

Our road was closed all day Monday for a street party over 300 turned up, a good time was had by all. :beerchug:

love the Royal Family, and was very proud to be British!

i didn't go, but did watch a few hours over the weekend, a few friends went and have said it was amazing!
I used to own a 6, now I'm just a lurker!
