Warrenty confused

Post by bigsteve » Thu Aug 11, 2011 12:48 am

Looking in to warranties, what a mine field

Car Plan Care, no car over 3500ccc on some dealer info but other seem to be able to offer it.
But only seems to be available from dealers.

Car plan also run Black Horse and about 5 main manufactures warranty services, massive company that are running a lot of schemes, is it true they can’t use wear and tear on things like gearbox and engines as a reason not to pay out any more.

Been offered a car care plan warranty but is it worth the paper it’s written on.

Some Audi warranty schemes seems to be looked after by car plan

Guardian Care warranty is supported by the range of products and services designed to help avoid any unexpected motoring costs. These include Guardian Care Warranty, Guardian Assist (breakdown and recovery), and MOT Test Cover. These customer care products are administered by Car Care Plan, Europe’s leading warranty administrator.

£1620 from Audi against £800 warranty direct

What about Warranty Direct

Any thoughts :greyrs4:
