A chum of mine is considering a 2.7 Allroad and has been told that Audi do a chip for it @ 350 BHP with no detriment to the warranty. True?

never heard of audi offering any chips that dont impede warranty

however various german companies such as MTM and Abt would probably give a guarantee in line with the warranty

That IMHO is the difference with German and Swiss tuning compared to UK tuning. They all want to do it properly wehreas people like Quatro Sport and AmD are trying their best but have people like Jabba and others to bring the price down so something has to give

yeah but that is gunna be marginally more money than a remap or chip
