Noble M12
Re: Noble M12
Why not....?
Re: Noble M12
I suspect for the same reasons I didnt get one.
Lovely engine, but you just know its going to have the reliability of a TVR
The test drive was great though. Really got the car out of my system.

Re: Noble M12
Why not....?
Loved the car for quite a few reasons.
1, Bloody fast. Even compared to the RS4
2, Fantastic Grip.
3, Stunning looking car.
4, More room in it than I expected.
Reasons I'm not getting one
1, I think £60,000.00, for basically a Ford is a lot of wonga (even though it is a great car)
2, Only 12 months or 12,0000 miles Warranty (Sorry Noble but don't you have any faith in your product).
3, Not as Practical as RS4 (Pretty obvious)
4, I don't do enough Track days in a year to warrant having one.
5, Ideally I would want to keep the RS4 as well. (Not a chance).
So that's why. I must say that I would love one but the RS4 is going to stay.
As far as I can gather from existing owners they are extremely reliable. I'm sure that anyone who bought one would be very happy with it.
Never going to have one.
Errrrr yet. (Mental note: never say never).

Re: Noble M12
For turbo lovers, you cant do better than the Noble at the moment. Fffffsssssssccchhuuttt whooooossshhhh.... its there all the time right behind you. So audible. No soundproofing much in the one I drove.
AP racing 4 - pots all round. Very light weight package - circa 360hp in 1050kgs - but due to huge downforce created by body and addenda does not have the legs of an RS at higher speeds.
Its a track star though. Gets huge attention, but I reckon it looks really wrong from its side profile. Lot of money for what it is. You do get boost gauge, but no oil temp gauge!!! Serious omission. I felt it was all too flimsy, and they keep developing it, developing it, much like TVR, using the customer cars to (eventually) improve the breed. Certainly a far cry from the way a manufacturer like Porsche proceeds, but then its a very different car.
Quirky. Different. Uncommon, and as always, horses for courses.
