None of that straight line bollocks, most of us here go to trackdays - you'd be more than welcome

Riz, you should quit the straight lines stuff and get out on the track - I see you mentioned earlier that you have beaten two M3s in your standard S3, so you must be some driver

It may be a standard S3, but don't forget Riz has 'those' trainers pressing the loud pedal

Naaa one of them bottles it cos his backend twitched alittle at 135 and the other got a good beating from his miss as we floored it all theway up the M40 at around 140.... he got a proper beat...

Well the S3 will never be racing on a track as its up for sale...... maybe the R32 will venture onto a track oneday.... no rush plenty of time....

hi guys,

gotta disagree about the standard S3 beating the fiat 20VT. when my car was standard which was for a good few months i had many run ins with S3's from standing at traffic lights and they all got the slight edge on pull away due to our FWD, but i soon overtook them easier than i thought i could. as for TT's ive always liked them, but they just dont seem very fast at all, unless the drivers ive raced never floor it.

have to admit though, S4's are deffo fast cars, nobody can deny that.

Just to cheer up the S4 folk here, the 'Co-Op' has an similarly ridiculous procedure for cam-belt changes as us, costing a minimum of around £400 at a back street garage. I think we can all be sympathetic to that...
Likewise, I believe they also suffer exhaust manifold problems. Again, a stupidly expensive repair.
Now for one that we don't have - their doors can - on occasion (ie, when it rains) - piss water in for no real apparent reason. I guess to balance things we need to admit to having a crappy TBB and F'ing hose.

There are pros and cons to each marque. Styling wise, the Fiat looks great with decent rims and a touch of lowering. Audi just requires lowering (IMO).
Another similarity - Fiat have their own version of Imola and Nogaro. Not quite so stunning as Audi's version, but a fine interpretation
