It was a gyro stabilised camera mounted on the Ferarri itself. Apparenly one of the first uses of a stabilised camera.

I remember seeing something about this on the London evening news...made a change from the usual stabbings and mayoral elections stuff!Did 5th gear not report on the filming for Gran Turismo5 in London early in the morning...?
This is possibly part of the mystery surrounding the whole film (all 9 minutes of it). It is definately a Ferrari at teh end of the film...no doubts about that.I also thought it was a merc

Snow Patrol actually used a large part of the film as a video to one of their songs last year...but can't remember the title of the song.
