White House RS4

Post by A8Ben » Mon Jan 21, 2008 10:46 pm

Just like to say a massive thankyou for whoever it was (sorry I dont know your name) who took me and my father for a blast in their RS4 Avant at the latest north west meet at the White House pub.
The person didnt know me or my dad from adam, and was good enough to offer us a ride in their car when we expressed our interest.
It was such an intoxicating experience that it has prompted me to register on RS246, even though my D2 A8 doesnt properly qualify!
I'll be at the February meet for sure, so thanks again mystery RS4 man!

Regards,
Ben

P.S. (The car was a met. grey RS4 Avant B5 with BBS CH (I think) rims and a babyseat for anyone who knows the car and/or owner!!)

Well thanks again Gordon. I take it your car isnt a standard RS4 then? That brief experience has got me intent on owning an Audi RS car now - nothing will ever feel quick again in comparison! And the road was wet - I can only imagine how it shifts in the dry!

Roll out the list of mods, Gordon - I want to see this - see how it compares to jeffw's car that I had a ride in on Sunday.

Before the man goes down any road, tell him the mental and physical endurance you went through! Not to mention the financial draw.
Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Ah, that's a point. These aren't cheap cars to tinker with.

Yes I became destitute and reverted to my Pikey ways. Thank for reminding me.
Its a very windy lane that one. But thanks to all involved.
