Maserati 4200

Post by jeffw » Sat Nov 10, 2007 6:16 pm

I was talking to a mate a few days ago about what I'd replace the S4 with...usual responces from me, B5 RS5, RS6 maybe. He suggested a Maserati 4200, I laughed and left it that. However I had a quick look on Pistonheads and you can get a nice 4200 for around £25000...

Anyone got any first hand experience of them....need someone to talk me out of, what I suspect will be, a moneypit. They look lovely though :)

Yeah, bi-turbo Maserati's can be had for not too silly sums. Trouble is, they are at those prices becuase they have serious depreciation. You might be able to afford the cost price, but can you take the hit in a few years time? Having said that as with most cars, the depreciation must tail off as it gets older for the used owners.
