got 3 points from a Gatso near Sutton Bridge but they're due to come off any minute now. think i've managed to carry 3 points for most of my driving career. got done in Viperbis hunting ground a few years back but fortunately speeding offences there didn't count on the mainland. the queue to pay the fines was horrendous, they must have made a fortune out of the fines.

i know a lad (lets call him Chin on tank John for no other reason than that was his name) who managed a hit and run on another mates mothers Three Pin Plug. as soon as he realised how stupid he'd been he went back to the scene and fezzed up but even though my mates mother said she didn't want to persue it further the plod did and he ended up with 13 points but kept his license. he had to drive like Mother Theresa for 12 months untill his tally reduced.

Just 3/£60. Got caught doing 92 on a dual. I'd been ok if I hadn't been arguing with the missus about going too fast i'd have seen the van in the layby!

Very impressed with the results. Audi drivers are solid, law abiding citizens :)

Well, i went through a gatso at 37 in a 30, tried to drag it out past the six months they have to charge IIRC, and this morning, the last day they could have got me, guess what dropped through the F*%&ing letter box! Such an automated system and thats what annoys me, looked more like a slip you'd fill in for a school trip!
From past experiences, is it worth trying the magistrates with mitigating factors of dry road, night time, no cars etc? or take 3 points and help pay for the christmas do!? Only problem is I only have 6 points to loose at the minute been a young driver!
Never the less 0 points at the minute!! :)

Still have a clean slate. Southern Irish license issued nearly 8 years ago and have managed not get stung for anything both sides of the Irish sea. No probs declaring on insurance either, guess not I suppose it being issued in an EEC state.
There are 2 tools you need in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape.
If it moves and it should'nt, use the Duct Tape
If it doesn't move and it should, use the WD-40

Got 9 points on my license, all within the last 3 months. I've had a clean license and no accidents for 14 years now, but the last 3 months have been a total nightmare for me. Lots of fast-ish cars during that time too.

Got 3 points for 35 in a 30 - A40 in London, 10pm at night. 3 lanes wide & crash barriers either side. Scamera flash......in a 1.0 litre VW Polo.

Another 3 points on the M25 by an undercover lover in a Jaguar. Put on the blues and gave me 3 points for "not in proper control of vehicle". The traffic was barely crawling (2-3mph perhaps) so I stupidly decided to get out the rolling tobacco and make a quick smoke. He didn't see what I was doing, but he said I shouldn't be "playing with my nails"...........Thought about disputing this one but as it only brought me to 6 points, and it would be his word against mine, I took the 3 points. Fair cop I suppose but I still don't think what I did was unsafe in any way. - in a 1.0 litre Polo.

Then a week later I get another NIP through the door for 40 in a 30, down on the A413 Gravel Hill. I don't know this road, but this was in the transit van which takes forever to build up speed. Apparantly this hill is quite steep & straight, and unless you're watching the speedo constantly & not looking at the road at all, it's dead easy to build up speed without realising.

I now have 4 bloody years of driving like a vicar before any points come off. It's so frustrating. I went out the other night & made an attempt to stick to the speed limits religiously. Cue traffic tailgating me everywhere, lorries swerving around me on motorway entry slip lanes, and drivers almost crashing as the try and overtake me on blind bends on country roads. At least I'm not going faster than that number on the stick though, even if I am causing accidents everywhere I go due to other drivers frustration.

I just can't afford to lose my license though. I'm self employed, but more importantly I'm a single dad and I couldn't survive without the use of a car to collect / pick up / ferry around my little girl. She's only 5 so I can't pack her off on the bus just yet!! Her school is quite rural and not served by any useful public transport, so it would totally ruin her life and mine!

Been driving since 92 and nothing so far however, since getting the RS I'm so paranoid that I'm gonna get clocked it's just so easy to go fast - although saying that was behind a line of traffic today doing about 35-ish in a 30 and came across a van parked on the grass verge got a bad feeling that we all have been clocked. And I wasn't even in the RS!

Clean now but when i first got my corrado a was being tailgated down a country road at night. After about 2miles i got pissed off with it and smoked em'. Yep, it was a police car! Got three points, found out later i should have said nothing as he had no evidence and was on his own.
