Sorry to say I like that, though it appears I may be on my own on this one... Pistonheaders seem to hate it.

I'm glad you said that mate, so do I :) in a mid metallic blue :nodder:

Very quick in the real world too

I'm guessing with better downpipes, cats etc and a good map it could be 350 bhp ?

Quote from Pistonheads... 195 brake per tonne is stil pretty rapid. i think your missing the point looking at the power figures when considering 0-60 times on turbo diesels, its the torque that makes those things go.

Lets not forget the 335i is only a chip away from 360bhp (ala Birds 335i) and apparently they are not far off getting a reliable 380 bhp. that adds up to a power to weight of 243 bhp p/t working on bm's numbers or 255 bhp p/t losing the 75 kg passenger and luggage allowance.
For an everyday driver / weekend toy rolled into one it starts to look like a good alternative to an e46 m3 for those who can't run to a £52'000 e92 M3. Although I have to agree its not going to win any beauty contests!

I have to agree, too.

Will the next M3 be turbo-charged...??
