THE CANNONBALL 03

Post by i_like_cars » Fri Jun 06, 2003 9:25 pm

Any one from here taking part in it. I hear it costs £2350 but that includes one vehicle and two occupants, all sea crossings,4/5* hotels, evening meals and breakfast. 3500 miles and a maximum of 100 cars. Leaves from Central London and goes through France,Spain,Portugal Andorra and back to the UK. Would like to see an RS4/6 on some of those ferrari's.

Andy if you do take part, why dont you hire some proper digital DV cameras with mounts, mount them inside and outside the car and have them hooked up to multiple DV units in the boot to record it all....... then make a DVD so i can watch it all

Cool, i think it would be really cool to have something like this on dvd........ you could make loads of copies and sell them ££££

I`ve seen various programs on the gumball rally but there only about a hour long, would be very intresting to have the full race from start to finish on dvd.

Ive you were to encode in mpeg1 format and not mpeg2 you might be able to fit it onto one disc!
