I used to work at bmw and have driven most of the M range the m3 is a good car the SMG box isnt great i like the manual box better ! They sound good and the interior is sound but the csl is a little more lightweight inside and out , Id have the CSL over the standard M3 but if you can afford id have the M6 over both of em

No probs Simon...looking forward to it !

CSL is a fantastic car, but it really depends on what you are going to be using the car for....if you are never going to take it on track then it's a waste in my opinion. You will not get anywhere near the best out of it on the road.

Answer this truthfully in your head first - "What will I be using the car for ?"

That depends if you consider performance to be a straight line thing or not...

If you do, then stick with your turbo nutter barges ;-)

I came from a 53 plate M3 to to the RS6, obviosuly because the RS6 is much faster, but I believe a csl is similar to an rs6 and will keep up, but you have NO toys.

Apart from on corners, I gained a bit of ground then. As soon as it was a straight............ gone.
