New S8.... nice

Post by K2 » Sun Aug 20, 2006 9:14 am

At my local audi dealer last week (Listers Worcester) is the new V10 S8, with ceramic brakes. Very nice indeed....it looks like it has a fingerprint starter buton and the doors even self close!!
Looks very impressive indeed, but at £87 grand i think there are other cars that would come first !

I must say sounds very impressive. Those ceramic breaks must cost a lot. And a finger print starter button!!! Cars are certainly coming up in the world.

The replacement ceramic discs are £3300 ea.

I would think the S8 would be a good buy in 4+ years as the older S8`s can be had fairly cheaply at the moment. Ask the finace chappie in the dealer what the predicted future value is??

Do you have to put a key in to use starter button? If so makes it even more than a gimmick! Certainly a good looking car - Ceramic brakes are only needed if you are going on a track even then it's debatable - Absolutley beautiful car though maybe leave a few gadgets.
