Just going through the Audi configurator for the wife's new S3 sportback. I like the idea of 19" wheels but only available with magride which is another £1k. What do we think re mag ride up to nearly £46k

Only driven with. But reviews for the rs3 said it was much better with MAG ride.

I'm tempted as quite like the 19" wheel options

On the other hand, mag ride set to Dynamic makes the car rock hard! When my dad test drove an S3 I gave him a piece of paper with a dummies guide to make sure if it had suspension it was set to comfort! Otherwise he would have hated it!

The S3 Sportback I drove was on plain suspension, I thought it was beautifully balanced tbh

S3 is pretty hard. I have mag ride and its on comfort 24/7. I think normal suspension would be a step to far for me. On saying that I put aftermarket wheels and tyres (F1s) on my car and it made a huge difference. Conti sport 5s are very hard and the road noise is a joke!!!!.

I agree over 40k for a S3 is way too exensive. Great wee car though.

It's done car ordered with standard suspension not mag ride. High spec with merlin purple paint managed to get it all in for under £40k. Should look the nuts
