Tesla

Had a Tesla hot on my tail today, I was in fairly full flow, but approaching a controlled area, so had to ease back. I was impressed.

They can do 0-60 in 3.1 seconds in "insane" mode. Look it up. :FIREdevil:

Here's one I was looking at the other week:Image

Model S?

A guy I know is waiting for delivery of one, although it is not the full balls out version.

I've driven the P85D in insane mode - I testify, it's insane.
Gone but never forgotten:
2007 RS4 B7 Saloon, Metallic Silver with SS+.
LED's all round and Dectane LED tailights. KDS detail and paint. Lepsons black chrome, heavy on the silver wheels. JCWeldFab full system - valved and no pre-cats. MRC stage 2, de-flap and full carbon clean - 438PS and 489NM. HEL brake lines. H&R Spacers. Gtechniq C1 and EXO V2 coatings. 2010+ RNS-E. On the MRC dyno: http://youtu.be/y_k0VJ2--y8

It's similar to C7 money and very well specced as standard. Some realy nice design touches too like the hidden charging flap that auotmically opens when you get close with the cable and the retractable door handles.
Great benefits for the business user too, and no congestion charge (or road tax?).

And free charging on their supercharger network. Tempting!

Mike, as a business user the relief is amazing. The tech is amazing and the recent 'anti panic charge mode' introduced last month via over the air update is good. Rapid charger install is free at home via rebate scheme - it's a great car. I spec'd it to £93K before I was happy :/

Yeah mine came to about £94k, same as an RS6.

However, after watching this video of a Tesla dragging against a Lambo it reminds me there is still an unavoidable draw back

It is missing that lovely engine / exhaust noise!!

I believe he's also involved in Formula E, so I think other forces other than delay were at work!
