Said goodbye to this

Won't miss it!
But what is it?
Imagine how I felt having never experienced JLR Infotainment before this car? Has taken the best part of 4 weeks to set the car up.
Not strictly true, Paul. The TDV6 lump is older, it's all to do with the turbos that are now used.
I heard the opposite regarding age Kev, but i could have been misinformed. Agreed the SD has the twin scroll turbo & the TD a single turbo, but that the TDV6 is an all new (not sure when it was new though) engine, although i'm sure if it's based on an earlier engine but it uses lighter components, hence it's lighter weight to the SDV6, even allowing for the additional turbo on the SD.kmpowell wrote: ↑Sat Apr 15, 2017 1:55 pmNot strictly true, Paul. Range Rover TDV6 uses a single turbocharger. Range Rover Sport SDV6 uses a parallel-sequential turbo setup, hence how it can get significantly more power.
The older TDV6 (twin turbo) in the RRS was replaced by the SDV6 in early 2014. The TDV6 found in your FFRR is the single turbo development of the older twin turbo TDV6 lump.
Gratuitous pic of my SDV6 RRS AD...
