Anybody seen one yet?

Very tempted as it would tick a lot of boxes for me right now!

Yeah I was thinking that but the bi-turbo makes all the difference, oh and they've done something to make it sound live a v8 ?

Hopefully find out this week!

Yes they might route the sound into the cabin but there's something else as this is a diesel but sounds like a petrol.

Hi,

I took delivery of my SQ5 on Saturday. Trust me you won't be disappointed if you buy one!

Strongly suggest you take a look at myaudiq5.com.

Here are the delivered SQ5 threads to date including mine;
http://www.myaudiq5.com/index.php/topic ... eep-to-go/
http://www.myaudiq5.com/index.php/topic ... re-engine/
http://www.myaudiq5.com/index.php/topic ... 000-miles/
http://www.myaudiq5.com/index.php/topic ... rs-to-sq5/

Lots of good info in the last 2 on the drive etc and lots of pics as well.

How did the test drive go (if you've had it yet)?

Regarding the sound - it is an actuator in the exhaust so works in and out of the cabin - it really does sound like a petrol V8 - turns heads I can tell you!

Let me know if you have any specific questions or post on the Q5 forum, lots of people willing to help potential buyers there :)

Only my opinion but I just don't see the point. Just get an S6 or S4 surely?

Audi are really whoring out the S/RS badge at the moment.

I would agree but you get economy with the SQ5 as well... And in my opinion no real drawbacks.

I'm not sure economy comes into buying an RS, or an S car really, for me at least.

It's all about POWER!

Same here. My right foot is very heavy, 20.7mpg is my best in the S5 when driving to and from work.

Not crazy mileage (14k a year), but had other considerations like price, size etc. Have a dog so having space for her was a must. Also already have a track car and a drift car so wanted something to tow them but still be fun as a daily.
Overall the SQ5 had no real competitors for what I needed/wanted.

They are on display outside canary wharf station. At least from a distance they looked no different to a normal Q5.

It's just about the change for me, currently driving a BMW M3 with a modified exhaust so I know I won't get a better sound, my car now sounds better than my RS4 with a Milltek did.

Looking for something a bit bigger and newer, had been looking at X5's but they're not as nice as the Q5 and the SQ5 seems like a good balance between both.
