I took delivery of my SQ5 on Saturday. Trust me you won't be disappointed if you buy one!

Strongly suggest you take a look at myaudiq5.com.

Here are the delivered SQ5 threads to date including mine;

Lots of good info in the last 2 on the drive etc and lots of pics as well.

How did the test drive go (if you've had it yet)?

Regarding the sound - it is an actuator in the exhaust so works in and out of the cabin - it really does sound like a petrol V8 - turns heads I can tell you!

Let me know if you have any specific questions or post on the Q5 forum, lots of people willing to help potential buyers there :)
Thanks!!! Going to look at that forum now.

Not had the test drive yet, it's expected into Bolton Audi tomorrow!!

The garage door was a concern for a few guys on myaudiq5.com, turned out it goes into a standard door width no problem. It's only 3 inches wider than an A4 and 3 inches shorter...

An RS6 for a diesel SQ5?

Can I ask why? I already guess they don't really compare.

just never got on with the 6 at all - it was an impulse buy. change in circumstance offered me an excuse for a way out.
needed / wanted something that covered most bases (obvious compromises) and this seemed to fit the bill - well so far ....

People should have a drive before dismissing it, this is just meant in general, not towards the comments posted here, but i do understand where the initial skepticism comes from i really do.

If you follow the links above I posted to the Q5 owners forum, lots of first hand reviews.
But in essence, it's a great drive. Blows the expectations of how an SUV should handle out of the water IMHO.

Saw two today. One was in the Audi showroom and walked straight past it to a Q3 that had caught my eye more. Turned round and it was only because of the tailpipes I noticed it. Odd for me as I always spot the silver mirrors.

To be honest it looked very dull.

On a separate note the RS5 cab looked dull compared to the RS5 coupe.

Dull or stealthy? It's sometimes good not to stand out too much when the car is so rapid. Melting into the background of 2.0tdi Q5s can have its advantages too. What colour was it?
Thought for the moment...

...if some mindless ASBO keys your car as happened to my previous S4 then stay positive...they may have had a moments glory in front of their mates but they only did it because they're jealous of you being able to drive it every day! Who drives wins!

Knowing what it's capabilities are I would say stealthy. Very!

It was black. I have seen better looking 2.0TDI Q5's that's for sure. But then again I have seen better looking A4s than S4s. Even the RS4 with those 19s looks a little pants. As with most things Audi, the car is hugely spec dependant. :audibash:
