Hello long shot I know but just brought s1 abt and as its only couple of months old wondering if first owner is a member and could give me any more info on car.

First time I've seen that car (and I'm on 4-5 Audi forums, including A1 specific ones). Will let you know if I see it anywhere.

That side grill ruins the lines of the car in my view. And it's the only silver thing on it

Sorry think I may have mislead you I have just brought it was trying to track down first owner. Yes sort of agree about about side grill although wing mirrors silver but will probably colour code at some point.

Not mislead me at all, just pointing out I spend a lot of time online in the forums the previous owner may have been on, with the (I also have to say, tacky) ABT grills it's a distinctive car that I would remember seeing.
So the conclusion is the previous owner is not a 'forumer'.

Tacky bit strong but came with wheels and 310 BHP so will live with them for time being.brought /bought good job the teacher wife did not see

Yea, wheels are sweet, what size/tyre are they?

I wouldn't take too much offence, it's a personal opinion
They would look much better colour coded.

As for 310bhp, mine is at 284bhp and is pretty mad, and I can't actually imagine wanting/needing much more, so yours must be mental!
I am actually looking at clutch upgrade options as it's struggling with the extra torque, as started slipping on hard upshifts recently

P.S. My Wife is a teacher too!

Not sure of exact wheel size tyres are original so think they must be same as standard.hope I don't need to do anything clutch wise but yes it does go well but only picked it up Friday so not been far.wife now retired

Not sure how much torque the ABT tune gets you, but that is what kills the clutch - I'm at 445Nm...

Interesting, that puts you well above the average S1 owners age bracket. Most of the 10 or so I know (including myself - just) are under 30.

Presume you have had an interesting car history?

Under 30? I'd have thought user 20 would be more appropriate (or female)
