What's the full spec?
And 9 cars in 9 months!? WTF?
I'm losing, but not as much as you think ?? If I was I wouldn't be changing them as often.Rick_RS4 wrote:promote what? how to loose money on cars..?
I wanted to go with a pan roof and Quattro interior pack buy needed to keep the car under £30k and as I won't be keeping it I need to be careful on the spec ..josedebardi wrote:Nice selection! Wish I had an excuse to get through that many. My friends think I'm made changing every year as it is!
Looks the nuts with the two tone and exterior Quattro pack. You've either got to go all out or nothing for the sleeper look with the S1 I think.
I know of a couple of people that do similar... If you are not too fussed about spec and the hassle of changing cars/paperwork all the time it is a cheap way to own nice cars. If you compare your losses to what you would have paid on a PCP or lease you are WAAAAY up!Abyss wrote:I'm losing, but not as much as you think ?? S3 saloon listed at £40k, paid £35.200 for it and just been offered £35k as a px. So £200 for an s3 saloon for 7 weeks isn't bad.
Q7 sport edition, list £56k, paid £46.700. Px'd against another sport edition 7 weeks later at £46k
So £900 loss on £96k worth of audis in 7 weeks ain't bad I'd say ..
I've lost £1000s in the past like everyone else Jose, but as long as I can keep this ball rolling I will.josedebardi wrote:I know of a couple of people that do similar... Indeed - it's all about choosing wisely! 'S' cars are a good one to go for as they all have high residuals.Abyss wrote: I've lost £1000s in the past like everyone else Jose, but as long as I can keep this ball rolling I will.
Once RS3 is announced (as Long as it's a saloon) I'll be ordered a car and it will be specced up as a keeper
Yeah I agree, just need to judge it right with the q7s as I need a 7 seater but want to be out of them before the new one starts to hit the residuals.josedebardi wrote:Indeed - it's all about choosing wisely! You seem to have a thing about the cost of these cars and the amounts people lose. Any reason?Rick_RS4 wrote:promote what? how to loose money on cars..?
Apparently the Polo R is going to get the DSG.Revolution wrote:only wish it had DSG box - looks an amazing car!
