yep, I'm ordering a yellow one from Kings Lynn as soon as the order banks open in March..

Exhaust and box should see 300/310bhp

Wife wants one .... Says it all

Built in Belgium, paint will be soft as the proverbial stuff and a nightmare to look after, expect a lot of heart ache scratch, scuff and swirl wise as these mark like crazy.
dont like the A1 so this aint gonna be any different.

Wife mobile like existing A1. Not bad as a 185 with S-Tronic. But still one for the ladies.

Better keep my comments about the A1 to myself then

Manual only seems strange.My wife also likes it, should look good in Sepang.

I'm keen on one in Sportback shape - white with the quattro exterior styling pack. Will probably aim for Sept. delivery.

Yep. Love it.
Missis wants a 5 door one. Have to be a 2nd hand one though in a year or so... Bit I think that's what the a4 estate will make way for.

Placed my order a few weeks ago, current build week 37 estimated... Working on reducing that!



Also have free servicing agreed if delivered before 30th June. When I placed the order the dealer and Audi UK reckoned no problem. This is also being sorted to be honoured even with late delivery. Will keep you posted! Note that technically the free servicing on the A1 offer is not supposed to apply to the S1 at all.

Post delivery mods;

Wrap lower tailgate in black (to match the press pics - this doesn't seem to be a UK factory option)



Things I didn't spec;

Alloy Gear knob - deletes 'S' specific one

Panoramic roof - expensive option that only adds weight (I have an MR2 for open top driving)

Smokers Pack - don't smoke!

CD Changer - doesn't anyone still use CD's?



Things I wish it had and will miss;

Adaptive Headlights (and there's no fogs to VCDS as cornering lights to make up for it )

Adaptive Cruise Control

Nice one. S-tronic or manual?

If my Mrs needed a car I think this would really fit the bill. When she does need one I think this is what I will buy as I would quite like to drive about in it as well from time to time.

Just notice they're manual only.

Haha! My Mrs will likely steal it! But I will likely steal her Octavia VRS she has on the way too!
