I'm never been one that liked the RS7, but this looks cracking!

At least we can see the carbon components that will no doubt be the same as the RS6.

Cheers

Stunning even in red!
Can’t imagine the depreciation though and the first owners will take a massive hit. Brave move in these uncertain times.
Not sure what this will do for residuals on the C7 though?

Just a bit, just configured one on the German site, 147,000 Euros!

That’s the same spec as mine, what’s disappointing is dynamic pack plus has gone up in price as has the carbon pack, HUD and sunroof are now options. 2k Euro’s for the 22” wheels. The only thing Specced which I don’t have now is painted ceramic callipers and that was a Floret Silver car I specced so no special paint or interior.

Also, looks like ventilated massage seat option is not available with Supersports seats, just standard seats

I’ll wager that pretty soon post Brexit there will be some killer deals out there as dealers will become desperate to shift stock.

Where they have stock, agreed, but factory orders will be another matter.

I wonder whether production capacity is being prioritised for the US market and therefore the UK allocation is more limited than previous years.

I’m assuming that production capacity is finite.

A batch of consistently optioned cars with a limited range of trim levels simplify the management and sale of the UK’s limited allocation - especially when it comes to managing residual pricing.

I also suspect that margin is optimised with the standard trim levels.

The point being, if Audi UK are limited to, say, 1,000 cars; then they’d rather maximise margin and velocity for as many of those cars as possible before opening up the configurator to allow people to buy canary yellow cars with green leather interiors.

Dunno - everything I just said might be BS!

Configured on the Audi UK site, £123,000 for what was a £106,000 car on the previous generation
