Was thinking of remap and new wheels but I'm also thinking of selling it.Unsure at the mobam_bam wrote:I used to dislike the '7 but now I like it, a lot, and that includes the rear-end. Now, map it like you hate it.

You've had it how long now? Good luck on the wheels, they'll be a quickly diminishing return. The remap though, that's money well spent - what is the MRC RSx 4.0TFSI stage 1+/2 now? Something like 750+PS & 1000Nm?
I'd imagine that planning a mile munching journey in it would make it harder/easier to sell.

No matter where you go, there you are.
Re: The best car I've ever owned
If I owned it I'd have to have it mapped before I sold it, crazy power. Think some nice concave wheels would make a difference to the look, but can't change the arse. Same as the C7, really funny looking behind, sadly.
Why you looking to change Rod? What you thinking of getting next?

Re: The best car I've ever owned
Wheels are goner cost ???? Probs £3500 for a decent set, does it really need a remap ad it's stupidly fast and a licence loser as it is,so that's a bit lump of dosh when I could put it towards my next toy a DBSchunky79 wrote:If I owned it I'd have to have it mapped before I sold it, crazy power. Ha, ha, got ya thinking now? Not sure who you'd use being right up north (think you are anyway?). MRC have done a C7 RS6 but don't know how much, probably going to be around £800- 900. Wheels will cost but they make a huge difference to the look of the car if you want to keep it.

DBS? Aren't they always breaking down? Truly stunning cars, have a local dealer near by and I always get a semi when driving past.

Thing with the dbs is they don't loose money hardly ever now and I won't be using it everyday so mileage won't go up a lot.The guy who had my 7 before me lost £50000 in 18 months,I'm just a bit cautious about loosing more money,I've lost enough over the years on bloody cars and when you bling them up u get nowt for the wheels etc when you try sell them.Example I've got some tsw,s for sale off me old c63 paid £1700 can't even get £400 ,pisses me offchunky79 wrote:DBS?
