So, here we are some weeks later and no comments regarding the APR cars here in the UK or Europe.

It seems that there are none, again please correct me and if there are, have they been tested like this and what were the results.

I look forward to it.

Cheers

That car was run on 93 (ron+mon/2)

Not sure why they have made that error in the site. I've emailed their marketing guy to fix.

Varsity your ask is funny, because it was you who railed against acceleration testing an rs7/rs6 for four pages a few months ago in this very thread. You're typical of the mindset of most audi owners, thus shouldn't be surprised that nobody has piped up with their timeslips.

If you're genuinely interested, contact Keith Lucas at Apr in (I believe) Milton Keynes and he can direct you to local owners who may have already done a few runs. His email used to be klucas@goapr.com

They have a 30 day satisfaction guarantee on many of their tunes. And you can sometimes have a 24 hr 'test drive'. Not sure on the 4.0t though.

. For the other poster the tune is applicable to the rs6 as well. They also have an s8 tune.

Chesterfield wrote:Several questions from a soon to be owner...

1) is this (or similar) available from anyone in the UK
2) will that company provide a warranty on the engine not destroying itself (like Lichfield do on the GT-R)
3) will this also work on the RS6
4) would it be wise tomuorate the clutch to deal with this upgrade, and if so, with what?

Thanks :)
No clutch to worry about. Just a zf torque converter automatic that handles the power very well. Apr own the car in that video and it has been running tuned for the better part of a year, making 700+tq.

Gearboxes do break on these cars, even before any tuning!

No reply from GOAPR.

Arin made more clear the octane ratings used on the website. No reply from Keith you say? Give him a ring. That email address may have changed now that he has moved to the UK.

How to ring an email address?!

On a separate note, Saki. Did you see that vid of a Sportec RS600 manual C5 RS6 running a quarter?

it's not hard to find APR's number on the Internet.

Are you referring to Corbett? He had it running pretty well a few months back. But he ended up changing a bunch of hardware things and fuelling and getting advice from too many people last I heard. Too bad because he had someone really accomplished helping him for a while before he got off track, but that's the b5/c5 world for you.
