I think it means it requires that size wheel, i.e. 19" wheel and cant fit the stock 18" wheel over them
Whoa 508mm rotors? Baller :).

That's a BFBBK.

Stonking review/write-up!

I too would be interested to hear your thoughts on the A8/S8.

Thanks:)

I've run out of time this month to get hold of the new S8 as off on Honeymoon next week so will now be mid October hopefully.

As for the A8 TDi SE Exec i own currently, it's an excellent car (for what it is). Can crack 60 in 6 secs & yet has averaged over 42mpg for the 10K miles i've driven. It's an out & out cruiser & is a delight to drive long distances. TBH, i only got it as the PCH payments were for nothing so would have been a fool to turn down the opportunity & post the GT-R with my annual mileage creeping up, i needed a more sensible motor for a while.

The new S6 is very high on my list as a replacement for the A8.

I had a look round one yesterday. It looks great, certainly got a nice stance and the interior is beautiful. A lot nicer than the awful 2.0TDI A6 I had yesterday. I thought the rear spoiler looked particularly good. As the RS6 will look more aggressive I cannot wait to see that as well.

Seen a few of these now

Looks bland as anything in boggo spec

Not for me no matter how fast etc

RS / R8 only way to roll

Hardly bland, but each to their own i guess.

The S6 is a nice balance between on road RS/R8 performance & a level of usability/functionality & discretion that the others would lack. It gives the best of both worlds, however if only one world is of interest then you're right as it's the wrong car.

Has an awful sounding V8 start up also. Very disappointing. Nice interior though.

You think the S6 is bland & the S7 vastly different? Apart from the odd slopping rear & pop up spoiler their's little between them & surely the S add-ons are the same on both cars? The press reviews also prefer the S6 performance & handling wise, but i guess if you want/need a huge fastback then the S6 is of no use. Saying that, i've only seen/driven the S6 saloon so perhaps the Avant is less attractive.

Personally i don't like the look of the A/S7 as looks weird from most angles, i also don't like the A5 but i guess a cars looks are purely down to personal tastes. Saying that, it will still be a fantastic car & please let me know your thoughts next year once driven in anger as the S6 is still the likely replacement for my A8 next Autumn
