S6 Back Boxes
Is there any difference between S6 back boxes and RS6 back boxes

Re: S6 Back Boxes
Yes, massively different
Their internal flow path is totally different
The valves are used in a different configuration too
I’ve put the RS6 exhaust on my S6, only needed to extend the n/s wiring for the valve - other than the RS6 rear valance, it works well, looks nice but the car actually sounds like a V8 now.
The valve on the S6 are configured for use with the COD
The RS6 use the valves for muting the sound, as well as COD

Oh that is great. This is the prob with my S6, it does not sound like a V8. My old RS6 sounded lovely, as did an old Stag I once had. A pity lakers are illegal

Agreed, it sounds like a Dyson vacuum cleaner in stock trim !
The RS6 exhaust, PE, works so well
