Driven an A7, nice but not for me, if I was in the market for that kind of car it would be the A8 everytime, nice V8 TDi quattro. The S6 on the hand (same engine as S7) I really like, could be a future potential for me down the line. Strange as the C5 and C6 S6s didn't excite me personally in the slightest. The C5 and C6 A6 4.2 V8 quattros I always found a more interesting package, super stealthy and rare as rocking horse shiit

I'm the opposite

A8 is way too old mans car

A6 is way too rep mobile

A7 is where its at, cool as feck and the S7 is the daddy mac

Hahaha yeah I agree on the age thing - what I was trying to say is that when I get to that kind of age and am in the market, I'd prefer the full fat A8 over the rather confused A7.

Do like the frameless doors and the glass insert on the B pillar to giving it a sleek seamless look. Nice touch, especially after Audi has gone the other direction and reverted back from their 'cassette' door frames to a more orthodox door design on the current A4.

S6 Avant with its gorgeous alloys and V8 burble ain't no rep mobile!

I had an A7 3.0 TFSI for a short while and absolutely loved it.

Also had an A8 V8TDI LWB too for a similar period.

Different beast for different feasts.

Although I'd have a 7 over an 8 personally.

I looked after the new S models at goodwood this year and I have to say I'm very impressed with the 7. 6 underwhelmed me a little but the 8 is the daddy. The new engine is impressive.

Looking forward to the RS7 :)
