Changing Rear pads

I need to change rear brake pads but I cant wind the caliper back without telling the car to go into service mode.

If there anyway around this. I have bought pads before realised and local garages wont fit customer supplied parts......

I used my TOPDON to retract the rear calipers. It winds them all the way out. not sure how else it can be done
